A Note on Our Shipping Prices: What’s Changing and Why
We want to be upfront about a temporary change to our shipping rates, coming on 23 April 2026 — and more importantly, we want to explain why.
Like many Australian businesses that rely on parcel delivery, our shipping costs are directly tied to what Australia Post charges us. And from 23 April, those costs are going up. Australia Post has announced a significant increase to its fuel surcharge, with the rate applied to domestic parcel contracts rising from 4.8% to 12%, and Express from 15.5% to 22.7%. That's a meaningful jump, driven by the recent rise in fuel costs across the country.
We've looked carefully at how to handle this. We don't want to pass costs on to our customers unnecessarily, and we've done what we can to absorb what we're able to. But an increase of this size isn't something we can fully cover on our end, so we'll be making some modest adjustments to our shipping rates from 23 April.
Here's what that looks like
Standard Shipping
| Current | From 23 April 2026 | |
|---|---|---|
| Small Items | $11.99 | $12.85 |
| Orders over $400 | $16.99 | $18.20 |
| Orders over $800 | $20.00 | $21.45 |
Express Shipping
| Current | From 23 April 2026 | |
|---|---|---|
| Small Items | $21.00 | $22.50 |
| Orders over $750 | $26.00 | $27.85 |
Digital delivery and POA freight tiers are unaffected.
Your existing quotes and orders are protected
If you've already placed an order or received a quote from us, you have nothing to worry about. We'll honour all orders and quotes at the rates that applied when they were placed, right up to and including 22 April 2026. If you're considering a purchase and want to lock in current pricing, placing your order before that date is the best way to do so.
We're watching this closely
This change is temporary. Australia Post's fuel surcharge moves up and down in line with fuel prices, and as soon as it comes back down, so will our rates. We have no interest in keeping prices higher than they need to be — and we'll update our shipping policy as soon as things improve.
We know that for many of our customers, every dollar counts. We genuinely appreciate your understanding, and as always, if you have any questions at all, please reach out to our team. We're here to help.
