Support at Home (HCP)

This product may be eligible for funding under the Support at Home Program where it is assessed as appropriate to support environmental control, independence or safety in the home - for example, enabling a person to control their environment using voice commands due to limited mobility or communication impairment.
Smart home and environmental control devices are classified in the AT-HM Code Guide under assistive products for environmental control (AT-HM code 24 13 03).
These products are considered an "Under Advice" support. Professional input from an occupational therapist is recommended to confirm clinical appropriateness and assess the home environment.
Eligibility and funding approval are determined by the individual's Support at Home provider and must align with the person's assessed needs and care plan goals.
