Support at Home (HCP)

This product may be eligible for funding under the Support at Home Program only where it is prescribed as a dedicated assistive technology device - for example, as the primary platform for an AAC application, cognitive support tool or other funded AT software.
Tablet devices used as AT platforms are classified in the AT-HM Code Guide under general purpose information and communication technology used as assistive technology (AT-HM code 22 39 15).
A tablet funded as general-purpose computing or for entertainment is not eligible under the Support at Home Program. Eligibility requires a clear clinical justification linking the device to a prescribed AT application or support need.
These products require prescription by a qualified AT prescriber. Eligibility and funding approval are determined by the individual's Support at Home provider and must align with the person's assessed needs and care plan goals.
