Time Timer Retro Eco (8 Inch) [Land/Green]

With less impact on the environment, the Time Timer® RETRO - Eco Edition is an 8" visual timer made with at least 20% natural plant material. Choose from your favorite earth-friendly colours like Land (Green) and Water (Blue).

It does not make any ticking noise, but if you want, a beep at the end of timing can be used. Requires 1 AA/1.5V battery, not included.

MADE WITH 20%+ PLANT BY-PRODUCT — Did you know? The rice husk, or hull, is the protective coating on a seed of rice that protects the grain during the growing season. The hull is removed during the harvesting process and considered a by-product, often used for non-nutritional feed filler, or worse, burned. Using local sources, we've incorporated this natural waste into the plastic of our product. Created with at least 20% natural plant material, the product is able to maintain it's strength and durability while utilizing less plastic.  

DESIGNED WITH INTENT— By combining rice husk byproduct with our plastic, and eliminating unnecessary parts, we have reduced overall plastic usage by nearly half.* (Compared to similarly sized visual timers)

BUILT FOR LONGEVITY — If you've been a Time Timer fan for a while, you may recognise the open face design. By eliminated the lens in the ECO Edition, we were not only able to further reduce plastic usage, but it also allows for simplified repairability of the disk, therefore giving it the opportunity for a longer lifecycle. 

SAME CLINICALLY PROVEN EFFECTIVENESS — Time Timer® visual timers have been clinically proven to increase focus and lessen anxiety in all ages and abilities. As time passes, the coloured disk gets smaller, making it simple for everyone to know how much time is left. A slot in the top of the timer allows for up to 2 Time Timer® Dry Erase Activity Cards (sold separately) to be placed for time to task management and first/then activities.
