Replacement Support Example

Jerome is an NDIS Participant. Jerome is non-verbal and requires the use of an Augmented and Alternative Communication device. His NDIS plan provides funding for a disability specific dedicated AAC Device. An iPad, Case and AAC App would provide also allow Jerome to effectively communicate. Joan applies to NDIS to approve an AAC Bundle as a replacement support. This AAC Bundle offers significantly better value for money than the dedicated AAC device and this is the most appropriate solution for his needs.
