"This product may be eligible for funding under the Support at Home Program where it is assessed as appropriate to support safe eating and drinking, independence and participation in daily living activities.
Adaptive eating and drinking products are classified in the AT-HM Code Guide under assistive products for eating and drinking, including cutlery (AT-HM code 15 09 13), plates and bowls (AT-HM code 15 09 18), cups and mugs (AT-HM code 15 09 21) and drinking aids (AT-HM code 15 09 24).
These products are considered Low Risk assistive products. They are simple, relatively low-cost daily living items that do not require prescription, customisation or professional setup.
Eligibility and funding approval are determined by the individual's Support at Home provider and must align with the person's assessed needs and care plan goals."
